1988
Cyclone commenced business as Cyclone Couriers, a three-man pushbike courier company offering rapid collection and delivery of packages to businesses in and around Dublin City Centre.
1989 - 1990
Business increased rapidly as word spread of Cyclone’s excellent service reliability and customer service, and as Dublin's traffic became increasingly congested.
1993
Increasing numbers of businesses moved to business parks in the Dublin suburbs and as a result Cyclone began to offer motorcycle and the motor van courier services to fulfil customers’ requirements. Cyclone now has the largest courier fleet in Dublin.
1994
Traffic was beginning to become a major problem for businesses and commuters alike and as a result, Cyclone initiated the Direct motorbike service which is a dedicated service serving only one job at any given time and hence ensuring a premium, guaranteed and direct service for times when customers have tight deadlines to meet.
1996
As increasing numbers of indigenous firms began to trade on a global scale and increasing numbers of multinationals began to set up in Ireland, Cyclone International commenced business in order to meet these customers' international courier needs.
2002
Cyclone Archive commenced business, providing a secure, reliable and trackable off-site document storage and records management service.
2004
In response to increasing customer demands for a confidential document destruction service, Cyclone Shredding commenced business. This service satisfied customers’ needs to abide by the Data Protection Acts, avoid data thefts and save money on expensive refuse charges.
2006
Cyclone Archive introduced a new document scanning service, allowing us to scan and save your documents in a variety of electronic formats.

In November 2006 Cyclone Archive opened its brand new, state-of-the-art storage facility in Finglas, thereby signalling our growth in this market and providing customers with increased storage capabilities.
2006-2007
Cyclone were delighted to introduce our clients to our Online booking system, this system has been developed to be as user friendly, fast and simple. These features include Instant Booking Confirmation - Record History - Proof Of Delivery - Invoice Reconcilliation.
2008
To improve our service offerings Cyclone have embraced the latest technologies to increase efficiency & speed up delivery of information to all our customers. Employing XDA'S with GPS tracking real time proof of delivery information all designed with the customer in mind.
2009
Cyclone are happy to announce that our entire Cyclone fleet are now fully equipped with XDA's,enabling our clients to view all pod's immediately. Cyclone launches iBook.ie - a technologically advanced online booking system incorporating Account Management Software. The system is designed specifically for Cyclone in response to growing customer reliance on operating in a digital environment. 70% of Cyclone customers now book online.
