Dublin Businesses play Pass the Parcel with Cyclone and Haven for Haiti Week
January 2012 was the second anniversary of the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti that killed over 300,000 and displaced more than 1.6 million people from their homes. Haiti Week, the first initiative of its kind in Ireland, is an innovative partnership developed by a number of Irish charities and businesses to assist the development of new ideas and approaches that will help hundreds of thousands of Haitian people. Haiti Week was officially launched in Dublin on October 9th 2011 by President Bill Clinton and took place between January 21st – 28th 2012.
Cyclone Couriers teamed up with Haven Partnership for Haiti Week and got Irish businesses having fun and forgetting about their January blues to celebrate a special island that is bravely struggling to meet a range of challenges. We asked Dublin businesses to play our favourite childhood game with us and PASS THE PARCEL! 98fm, Phantom Radio and tens of other Dublin businesses joined in the fun. If you missed out you can still participate by calling Haven on 01 6815440 and making a pledge today.
